LINX Camps’ Full and Half Day Programs Keep Young Kids Active and Social During the Summer

LINX Camps’ Full and Half Day Programs Keep Young Kids Active and Social During the Summer

WELLESLEY, MA – June 3, 2014 – LINX Camps of Wellesley, MA, offer full and half day summer programs for young campers 3 years to 1st grade, with the goal of keeping young children active and social in the summer months while learning and having fun with friends. The camps run from June through August and are located at LINX’s Dana Hall Campus in Wellesley.

Each day is unique as campers rotate from activity to activity to develop skills through non-competitive play. A typical day includes 4 traditional camp activity periods for the full day (9am-4pm) “Explorers” camp, and 2 for half-day (9am-1pm) “Fun Bunch” camp. Activities can include drama, kickball, art, gardening, and swimming. With a 5 to 1 camper to counselor ratio, each camper gets the individual attention many parents seek for this young age group, promoting a successful and memorable camp experience. Lisa Gatto, Program Director for LINX’s Wellesley Tree House, where parents and their young children meet to take classes, feels the summer camps enhance the communal experience the Tree House is known for. “We are excited to continue to offer our high quality, fun and enriching camps during the summer to keep our tree house community connected!”
