"Good Sport is an amazing model conceived by a wonderfully smart and passionate people who believe in what athletics brings to kids: self-esteem, camaraderie, positive discipline, leadership, and fun.  All too often this is limited by lack of access to things as simple as a ball or a uniform,” said Wolf. “Seeing what my kids are getting out of sports while being keenly aware of the expenses, has drawn me to Good Sports’ mission. I couldn't be more excited to contribute to such a worthy effort. "

Good Sports’ 18-member Board of Directors includes diverse representatives from a wide array of industries, including the sports, financial, non-profit and media fields. Ten years ago, CEO, Melissa Harper and COO, Christy Keswick – along with a team of founders – launched Good Sports on the simple premise that all kids deserve to play, and experience the vast health and social benefits of regular activity, regardless of where they live and family income. By partnering with sporting goods manufacturers, Good Sports has secured more than $10 million worth of equipment donations during the last decade.
