Babson Faculty and Staff To Walk 100 Million Steps By Graduation Day 2014
Babson College faculty and staff plan to celebrate Commencement 2014 ceremonies on May 17th, 2014 by walking more than 100 million steps this spring.
This effort is part of Be Well @Babson’s new 100 Days to Commencement Challenge, designed to promote fitness, wellness and a healthy lifestyle among Babson employees.
Participants received free pedometers during the Campaign Kickoff in February to record their steps. They chart their steps weekly and received college-wide updated totals.

Walkers also received email Tips for Stellar Stepping, and support messages concerning subjects like meal planning and stress management.
More than 20 offices and departments are participating in a friendly competition – recording the average number of steps per team member.
