Sodexo, dining services partner to Babson College, announced it has named William “Bill” Bailey as senior executive chef. Chef Bailey oversees resident dining operations for Trim Dining Hall, the diverse “all you can eat” culinary marketplace on campus; retail dining which includes Sodexo branded and national branded concepts; as well as catering operations.
Specializing in Asian, southern and classic New England cuisine, Chef Bailey is a 2002 graduate of the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts. His experience includes student dining for Boston University School of Management, executive chef at Stella Blu in Nashua, New Hampshire where he created an award winning tapas menu, and as part of the opening team for Union Bar & Grill with James Beard Rising Star nominee, Seth Woods.
Bailey has worked with celebrity chefs including Ming Tsai of Blue Ginger, Todd English of Olives, Susur Lee of Lee Lounge, Michale Schlow of Radius and Ken Oringer of Clio Restaurant at Ming Tsai’s five year restaurant anniversary.
