WELLESLEY, Mass. – Debi Benoit, Amy Mizner and Sheryl Simon, principals of Benoit Mizner Simon & Co. (BMS), recently announced the addition of ten new sales associates, bringing their agent count to 63.  The three year old real estate firm, with offices in Wellesley and Weston, has expanded by nearly 200%, and was honored last year with a "Growth Award" from The Commonwealth Institute and the Boston Business Journal.

BMS prides itself on the versatility and diversity of its expanding sales force.  Among the new additions to the Wellesley office are Anne Remian, Myra George, Susan Picking, and the team of Traci Topalis and Kelley Parker, and Lisa Sherburne.  Anne has been in the business since 1999, working on Nantucket.  Though she previously focused on the resort and secondary sector, she will be redirecting her focus to the primary residential real estate market with BMS.  Myra has a background in interior design which gives her a special talent that is so beneficial in real estate.  She is actively involved in several charities including Habitat for Humanity, Extreme Home Make Over, March of Dimes, and the Wellesley Public School system.  Similarly, Susan is active in the Wellesley community, designing and building new homes since 1998.  Thanks to her experience as a developer, she has a keen eye for seeing the potential in every property, an asset to both sellers and buyers.  Traci and Kelley are a dynamic mother-daughter team.  As founders of A Whisper of Hope, a foal fostering program that raises and adopts orphan foals, along with their ties to the equestrian community, they have particular expertise in the market of horse-friendly properties.  Lisa Sherburne began her career in real estate in 1993, a few years after graduating from Boston University. She has been a full time real estate broker on Nantucket Island since then. She now splits her time between the Island and Sherborn, MA. Lisa’s attention to detail, professionalism and ability to listen to her clients’ needs make her a successful broker with a loyal client base.

In the Weston office, Jennifer Cunningham, Mark Goodstein and Monique Mooney, and Kevin LaCroix join the team.  Jennifer brings with her the unique knowledge of having worked for the Commonwealth for over twenty years.  Throughout her tenure, she was able to gain knowledge of town governments, school systems, and a vast array of community organizations.  Mark worked as a former practicing attorney for residential and commercial real estate law and as an executive recruiter for the software industry.  Mark's expert listening skills, match making, contract knowledge and negotiation skills make him a uniquely qualified real estate associate.  Monique has been a successful Realtor since 2007. Prior to that, she spent ten years working for her father, a well-known builder of luxury homes. Monique's innate real estate acumen, coupled with her MBA and marketing degree, makes has a valuable addition to BMS.  Kevin is the Weston Office Director and has been a licensed real estate agent since 2002.  He comes from a high-tech background working in the software and internet marketing arena. Before entering the high-tech forum, Kevin was a professional ballroom dancer, as well as 14-year owner of the Fred Astaire Dance Studio located in Worcester.  Kevin is no stranger to the service industry and gives 100% coverage to the Benoit Mizner Simon group of professionals.

All of the new sales associates represent buyers and sellers from Boston to Weston and Wellesley and the entire Metro-West region.

“We’re thrilled with the exceptionally talented team of brokers we’ve been able to assemble,” says Benoit. “All of our new sales associates bring a vast network of contacts that reach all over the Metro-West area, and beyond,” adds Mizner.  “Their expertise will greatly benefits our clients.”

Benoit, Mizner and Simon believe that the experience they possess, via past careers in everything from finance to government, architecture and design is a great asset to buyers and sellers. “All of our new agents are experts in real estate, but their varied backgrounds really bring added value to their transactions,” says Simon.  “These sales associates represent the changing face of real estate.”
