Wellesley Dental Group is Going Solar

Wellesley Dental Group is Wellesley's first business to go solar.

Drs. Ali and Ali and the smile ambassadors at Wellesley Dental Group have announced that they are going solar as part of their mission to go green and reduce their impact on the environment. They are the first Wellesley business to go solar and are looking forward to promoting this sustainability initiative.

The Town of Wellesley Sustainable Energy Committee provided Wellesley Dental Group with an energy assessment, followed by a solar panels installation plan. The local solar initiative is an inspiration to consider our energy consumption and invest in going green. In their own words, “Creating our own clean energy is not only a great economic choice but also is a step towards a common goal of creating a better environment for our children.”

Wellesley Dental Group has shown continuous effort to make the office more sustainable, particularly through their use of digital x-rays, which eliminate the need for chemicals used for x-ray film processing. They have also made efforts to become a fully “paperless” office, saving all of their records in a digital form and primarily using email and mobile phone updates for their patients.
