Thunder Sports to Close Following Liquidation

, Wellesley Square's longstanding sporting goods shop, will soon close.
"Store Closing, Everything Must Go" and "Entire Store 10% - 40% Off" signs were placed in the front windows Friday, according to a store manager. The store will close depending on liquidation, the manager said.
Thunder Sports has been in Wellesley for over 20 years and will be the latest store to close in Wellesley Square, an area of town currently being looked at as a trouble spot for retaining businesses.

Over the course of the last 18 months, , and have vacated the square.
