FUEL Promotes Newton-Wellesley Hospital Board Member, Gene Miller

New executive director for FUEL currently serves on the Newton-Wellesley hospital outside board.

 

Families United in Educational Leadership (FUEL) announced their new Executive director earlier this week, Gene Miller, who sits on the Board of Overseers and the President's council at Newton-Wellesley Hospital.

“At FUEL, we have grown exponentially over the past few years and incentivized hundreds of underserved families in Massachusetts to save thousands of dollars for college, and become knowledgeable about accessing higher education,” Miller said in a press release.

She has been working with FUEL since its inception in 2009, and now takes a leadership role. Among her previous posts, Miller has worked with the Planning Office of Urban Affairs, Grove Bank, and the Greater Boston YMCA.
