Babson Student Nominated for Student Entrepreneur of the Year

Daquan Oliver is hoping to help underprivileged youth learn the skills needed to be successful.

Babson College undergraduate student Daquan Oliver is taking the knowledge he's gained so far at college to teach success skill to underprivileged children

Oliver's program, called Recesspreneurs, was recently nominated as a finalist in Entrepreneur Magazines 2013 Entrepreneur of the Year contest in the college category.

“After volunteering at an after-school homework program, I saw an opportunity to completely revamp and revise the curriculum to create what is now known as Recesspreneurs,” Oliver said.
