Wellesley Ave and Brookside Blocked by Falling Tree
Fallen tree knocked out power lines.
A fallen tree has knocked out some power lines, which may be causing some power outages around town.
A falling tree limb took some power lines with it. According to the announcement sent out by Wellesley Police, Wellesley Ave is blocked at Brookside Avenue, near the Country Club. Police are detouring traffic around the area.
Crews are working to remove the tree, and the Municipal Light Plant is on the scene to restore some power outages caused by the falling tree.
