Young Wellesley Musicians To Perform in BYSO Concert

Nine Wellesley students will perform in the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra's final concert of their 56th season.

On Sunday, June 15th, nine student musicians from Wellesley will perform at the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra’s. The concert, which is the final one of BYSO’s 56th season, will take place at Sanders Theatre at Harvard University at 3pm.

Every Sunday for over 9 months, these passionate musicians have rehearsed together and they have performed at concerts throughout the year. BYSO’s premier orchestra, Boston Youth Symphony (BYS), will perform Wagner’s Overture to Tannhauser and Strauss’ Death and Transfiguration. BYSO’s Repertory Orchestra (REP) will perform Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 5 under conductor Mark Miller.
