‘Legally Blonde the Musical’ at Middle School This Weekend

Reese Witherspoon’s depiction of brainy-and-beautiful aspiring law student Elle Woods has been converted to the stage for two showings this weekend.

The Wellesley Theatre Project presents “Legally Blonde the Musical” opening tomorrow night at the Middle School with an encore showing Saturday.

Here is WTP’s synopsis of the play: Sorority star Elle Woods doesn't take "no" for an answer. So when her boyfriend dumps her for someone "serious," Elle puts down the credit card, hits the books, and sets out to go where no Delta Nu has gone before: Harvard Law. Along the way, Elle proves that being true to yourself never goes out of style.

“Legally Blonde the Musical” is Friday, Aug. 24 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 25 at 2 p.m., Wellesley Middle School auditorium, tickets: $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors.
