Wellesley Native Sings at Red Sox Game

"The Voice" finalist starts off the seventh inning with 'God Bless America.'

 

"The Voice" (finalist) from Wellesley treated Red Sox fans to a rendition of 'God Bless America.'

Ahead of the 7th inning stretch, Michelle Chamuel sang at Wednesday night's game, WHDH reports

“Being the last member of Team Usher, I’m like, I need to hang on to this with all I’ve got, for the two of us,” Chamuel told WHDH.

She flew in on Tuesday, sang on Wednesday, and is heading back today--Thursday.

Chamuel graduated Wellesley in 2004, and went to University of Michigan from there. The Swellesley Report asked her if she had performed much at WHS, to which she said she "mainly sang in secret." This is her second time on the program, after not making a team last time around.
