A one-man exhibition of work by award-winning Wellesley artist Roy Perkinson at the Wellesley Free Library. The exhibition, "Day Into Night," will include a few dozen recent and very new (never shown before) landscape paintings in oil, pastel and watercolor, representing locales that range from Vermont, Massachusetts, Maine, Texas, Oregon, and France. The exhibition runs from Oct. 1-31, and a free public reception will occur Saturday, Oct. 6, 2-4PM. Perkinson, a lifelong painter, has been a resident of Wellesley since 1976. His work is in the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and is represented by the Copley Society of Art in Boston, Fountain Street Fine Art in Framingham, and Eventide Gallery in Essex.
