Chamuel Finishes Second on NBC's 'The Voice'

Wellesley High School grad was runner-up to Danielle Bradbery, a country singer.

After a full season of competing with other singers on 'The Voice,' Wellesley native Michelle Chamuel beat out lots of competitors — but came up short in the end.

Chamuel, who grew up in Wellesley before attending the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and settling in Northampton, Mass., took home second place in the final round of voting.

During the finale, Chamuel performed “Counting Stars" with One Republic and Stevie Wonder's "We Can Work it Out" with former teammates from the competition.
