Wellesley Man Finds $25K in Book, Uses Money to Say Thank You

The money was found in a hollowed out book at the Wellesley Recycling Center.

When Carlos Valaderes found more than $25,000 in a book at Wellesley Recycling Center last fall he gave the owner of the money several months to come forward and claim the cash.

That time has passed and now, according to the Christian Post, he is using that money to say thank you to a man who saved his life.

Valaderes gave $5,000 of the money he found inside a copy of My Favorite Things to a man who saved his life 30 years ago in Brazil after a hunting accident.
