Train Honoring Vets Rolls Through Wellesley Today

The special MBTA train will ride through commuter rail communities over two months.

The MBTA/MBCR Gold Star memorial train will run  commuter rail stations tonight.

The train will be at at 7:12, at 7:16 and at 7:19, according to a spokesman.

The train is red, white and blue and covered in over 150 gold stars, each with the name of a Massachusetts serviceman or woman who lost his or her life in the Iraq or Afghanistan wars. The train was unveiled just before Memorial Day and will now travel across the commuter rail system for two months.
