Morses Pond is now closed for the season, according to the Swellesley Report.
The season started in the beginning of June, the same month that 10-year-old Alexander Glennon of Manchester, NH drowned at the pond. The pond was closed temporarily and then reopened in late June, the Swellesley Report said.
Given that most of the staff at the pond consists of college and high school students, the pond needs to close, according to the Swellesley Report.
