Look to the skies tonight, July 11, to witness the return of the Supermoon.
This lunar spectacle occurs when the moon is near the Earth, making it appear significantly larger than other full moons.
You should be able to take in the sight both Friday and Saturday nights with the best viewing in the early morning hours of Saturday, July 12.
Scientists advise watching the Supermoon at moonrise or moonset, according to The Huffington Post.
The July Supermoon is the first of three. Supermoons are also predicted to return Aug. 10 and again Sept. 9. The August moon is anticipated to look the biggest of the three, according to NBC News.
