Halloween in Wellesley

There are several events happening this Halloween. Take a look at what's going on around town so you can join the celebrations.

Pumpkin Fair

The Bates Elementary School will be holding their annual Pumpkin Fair on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is for all residents and features raffles, games, prizes, a haunted house and more, according to the Swellesley Report.

Proceeds from the fair benefit the Bates PTO. For more information, visit www.batespto.org.

Haunted House Decorating Contest 

The Haunted House Decorating Contest will be held on Oct. 28, the Swellesley Report said. The Recreation Department invites residents to nominate someone in their neighborhood for the contest. The categories are best theme, funniest, most creative, judges favorite and best use of homemade decorations. To make your nomination, email a photo to recreation@wellesleyma.gov.

Superheroes Party 

The Superheroes Party will be held Oct. 19 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Linden Square, according to the Swellesley Report. Kids ages four to eight are invited to visit with superheroes, enjoy Halloween crafts and more.

Very Not Scary Halloween Parade & Party

The Very Not Scary Halloween Parade and Party will be held on Oct. 26 from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Linden Square Courtyard, according to the Swellesley Report

Halloween Party 

There will be a Halloween party on Oct. 30 from 4 to 6 p.m. at 5 Seaward Rd. The Wellesley Dental Group will host the party. Kids should wear costumes and can enjoy food, drinks and prizes.
