Crosswalk Renovations Coming to Wellesley Hills

Construction crews start on Washington Street near Route 9 and move west toward Abbott Road.

Pedestrian crosswalks in Wellesley Hills along Washington Street will begin to be replaced and renovated starting July 28, reported Wellesley police on their website. 

This work is to be done from 9 p.m. through 5 a.m., with construction crews starting on Washington Street near Route 9 and moving west toward Abbott Road. 

"Wellesley Police Officers will be directing traffic around this construction, but please be aware of it if you drive on Washington Street during the late night and early morning hours."
