All Roads Now Closed in Wellesley along Boston Marathon Route

• The Wellesley Police department has announced as of 8:30 a.m. all roads in Wellesley along the Boston Marathon route are now closed. The roads will be open sometime in the area of 3:30 to 4 p.m.

The following roads are closed:

• Central Street from the Natick Line to Wellesley Square (Rt. 135) is now CLOSED.

• Washington Street (Route 16) from Grove Street to the Newton line is now CLOSED.

• The ramps from Rte, 9 east and west to Rte. 16 (Washington Street) in Wellesley Hills are now CLOSED.
