Natick Assembly is a youth group for girls ages 11 to 20 that is based in Natick, MA with members from many surrounding towns. Our goal is to teach leadership, teamwork, and self confidence through service to the community. In Massachusetts, there are 26 communities with Rainbow assemblies, all willing to perform service for others. Our state-wide service project for 2013-2014 is to support the Greater Boston Food Bank as well as local food pantries. In the past year, our girls have worked with other non-profit organizations such as the Town of Natick at events such as Family Night on the Common, Natick Days, and the New Year’s Eve party, Birthday Wishes, Boys and Girls clubs, and local animal shelters to volunteer time as well as raise money for worthy causes. The girls are always collecting soda can tabs to support the Shriners' Hospitals in Springfield and Boston. All of our service projects are planned and run by the girls. Natick Assembly rewards its members for their service with fun activities such as movie nights, mini-golfing, and game nights. We also have a camp for members. You can read all about it on our state Facebook page: www.facebook.com/massiorg, our state website: www.massiorg.net or at our international website: www.gorainbow.org. We are actively recruiting new members who are interested in building their community service resumes, having fun, learning public speaking skills, and making life-long friends.
