Wellesley Resident Attends Team IMPACT Gala

On October 3, Wellesley resident Sophia Sacher attended the Team IMPACT gala.

Team IMPACT, a charitable organization founded by Dan Kraft and Jay Calnan, hosted its second annual “Game Day Gala” charitable fête at The Westin Copley Place in Boston. At the event, the organization raised over $1million for their mission of pairing children who are facing chronic or life-threatening medical conditions with vibrant, team-based collegiate support networks.

Present at the event were Team IMPACT co-founders Dan Kraft(Executive Vice President, The Kraft Group-International), Jay Calnan (CEO, J. Calnan & Associates), legendary NCAA basketball coach and special guest speaker Jim Calhoun, ESPN reporter and emcee Wendi Nix, Celtics owner Jimmy Pallotta, former NFL players Joe Andruzzi and Matt Chatham, Cushman & Wakefield’s President Rob Griffin, BC basketball coach Steve Donahue and Team IMPACT’s Executive Director, Dan Walsh, and CEO, Paul Leech. There were also scores of Team IMPACT’s children accompanied by their college athlete friends, coaches and mascots.
