Patriots tight end dines with Wellesley families

The Marvan and Charron families of Wellesley, Mass., joined Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski for dinner at Davio’s at Patriot Place on Tuesday, August 6. The boys of the group – Cameron (age 10), Jonnie (age 9) and Robbie (a friend of the families, age 11) – came straight from football practice, sporting their Gronk jerseys. While enjoying their meals, the group talked football and what positions the boys play.

This experiential auction item, along with a variety of others from the annual fundraiser, including an upcoming backyard football game with Gronk, helped Good Sports  raise $210,000. The funds support their continued efforts to lay the foundation for healthy, active lifestyles among disadvantaged youth by providing them with athletic equipment, footwear and apparel.
