Hammond Helps Raise $180,000 for Newton-Wellesley Hospital

Wellesley, MA – November 22, 2013 – Gail Bogle, Manager of the Hammond Residential offices in Wellesley and Weston, announced that agents Beth Petrone and Joanne Berry, a member of the Newton Wellesley Hospital  HopeWalks Committee, assembled a team of Hammond agents and staff to participate in the annual Newton-Wellesley Hospital HopeWalks event.

This is the third year a Hammond Team was organized to participate in this 3.5 mile walk, which benefits cancer patients and their families by supporting the Integrative Support Services offered at the Vernon Cancer Center. In total, over 800 participants raised $180,000 for the Vernon Cancer Center, and Hammond’s team raised funds toward the cause. Beth Petrone, who is a Wellesley agent and well-known throughout the community for her volunteer work with the Wellesley Service League, served as the Team Captain along with Wayland resident, Joanne Berry of the Hammond Weston Office..

Joanne Berry said, “The Vernon Cancer Center provides a tremendous resource for the residents of the communities Hammond serves. We are committed to this cause, which extends life-enhancing programs and provides hope to individuals undergoing cancer treatment.”
