Things were looking rosy as local celebrities, including Wellesley resident and MAGIC 106.7 radio personality Candy O’Terry, and other ladies came out to lunch and create their own floral arrangements at a kickoff for The Home for Little Wanderers’ April Charity in Bloom Campaign and National Child Abuse Prevention Month. At the event, hosted by Winston Flower and Garden in Chestnut Hill, The Home for Little Wanderers announced that O’Terry, Designer Tonya Mezrich, and American Hustle Actress Erica McDermott, will represent the non-profit as its Charity in Bloom Ambassadors.

Each month, Winston Flowers designs and sells a floral arrangement made specifically for a local non-profit organization, donating 20% of sales to benefit the cause.

With Easter, Passover, Administrative Professionals Day, birthdays and other special occasions coming up, April is a great time to celebrate spring and one of New England’s favorite charities with flowers. More information about the Charity in Bloom arrangement can be found at www.winstonflowers.com, Winston Flowers retail locations in Wellesley and throughout the Greater Boston area and Greenwich, CT, or by calling 800-457-4901.
