Benefit Brunch/Concert for ClimateRide

Join local musical legends Tom Lawlor, Dennis Roach, Evan Ewing, and more for a benefit brunch to support ClimateRide, Sunday August 25th, 2013 at 1pm at Milestone Bistro, 13 Central St in Wellesley. This September, local resident Dave Varon will be participating in ClimateRide, (http://www.climateride.org), a 5-day, 300-mile cycling trek from New York City to Washington DC, to support efforts to raise awareness and support sustainability, bike advocacy, and environmental causes. Dave is specifically riding for four beneficiaries: The Nature Conservancy, The Boston Cyclists Union, The Solar Living Institute, and The Will Steger Foundation. A portion of proceeds from the event will go directly to support Dave's ClimateRide fundraising goals. Tow Lawlor is a drummer, producer, former TV personality, and 50-year veteran of the Boston music scene. Dennis Roach is last surviving MerseyCat, who has played with Pete Best, the original Beatles drummer. Evan Ewing, a jazz/blues piano player, professional piano technician and singer-songwriter from Medford, MA is another multi-decade veteran of the Boston music scene. Owner Charlie Papakonstantinou welcomes you Milestone of Wellesley, since 2010, to enjoy his fabulous traditional Brunch menu, and classical Mediterranean cuisine. A $20 prix fixe menu will be offered. Tickets available at the door.
