Congratulations to Roche Bros. Wellesley Store Manager, Maggie McLaughlin, who was selected as a Grand Prize winner in the Food Marketing Institute’s 13th Annual Store Manager Awards. The FMI Store Manager Awards Program recognizes exceptional supermarket store managers who generate sales growth, provide great customer service, contribute to attaining company goals and are an integral part of the communities they serve.
McLaughlin was recently chosen as one of ten finalists in the competition, in the category representing companies with 1-49 stores. On Tuesday, at FMI’s Future Connect leadership conference in Orlando, she was announced as the Grand Prize Winner in her category.
“We are so incredibly proud of Maggie,” says, Gary Pfeil, president of Roche Bros. “She was originally hired as a cashier at Roche Bros., and is a true testament of how hard work and dedication can build a career.”
McLaughlin has been the store manager of the Roche Bros. store in Wellesley for five years. She has received continual promotions over the years due to the urgency, attention and receptiveness with which she handles each situation. McLaughlin takes great pride in mentoring her associates and empowering them to make decisions and contributions to help better the store. She is also an active part of her community and in turn, excels at making the community an active part of her store.
