Wellesley College junior Randelle Boots, defending division III national champion in the mile, will compete at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships on March 9-10 in Grinell, Iowa. The prelims start at 6pm EST, Friday, March 9. Finals are at 4:30pm EST, on Saturday March 10. Watch the live webcast at http://www.ncaa.com/.
Randelle posted her seed time of 4:55.02 as the top Division-III finisher at the New England Intercollegiate Championships, she is seeded sixth overall in championships. This is Randelle's third straight year competing for the title. In 2010, she took All-America honors finishing third overall, and she won the 2011 NCAA Championships last March with a time of 4:56.46.
