Ang Lee Film Marathon Saturday at Wellesley College, Free & Public

This Saturday, join Wellesley College for the first of several events celebrating the work of critically-acclaimed director Ang Lee.

Ang Lee Film Marathon, Saturday October 5, beginning at Noon. Rediscover the talents of the Academy Award-winning director in preparation for his October 26 visit to Wellesley through this marathon screening of his most influential works. Movie screenings start at noon, the last film begins at 10:10 PM.

The marathon is one of several events this year celebrating the work of Ang Lee, highlighted by a visit by Lee himself. On October 26, Ang Lee visits the Wellesley College campus for a free, public talk with long-time collaborator James Schamus, screenwriter and CEO of Focus Features.

The talk, which is sponsored by the Newhouse Center for the Humanities; the Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures; and the Cinema and Media Studies Program, will take place on Saturday, October 26, in Wellesley's Diana Chapman Walsh Alumnae Hall Auditorium, 106 Central Street, from 10:30 AM to 12 noon.
