With all sorts of paid Internet streaming services out there for movies and television shows, it’s hard to believe that something is free.

But thanks to the Wellesley Free Library, the new Hoopla service is just that — free for patrons with a valid library card!

With your library card, you can log into the Hoopla subscription service and create an account to access the movies, TV shows and music available. Thanks to the library’s subscription, patrons can download five pieces of media a month on either a computer or a mobile device.

Hoopla offerings include British television favorites MI-5 and The Office; classic TV shows Father Knows Best and The Three Stooges; movie titles like 2 Fast 2 Furious and Babe; and music from Lorde, Dierks Bentley, Katy Perry and the Frozen movie.

To learn more about the Hoopla service, sign up for the class on March 25th here stop by the library during “Open Lab” times — Mondays between 1 and 4 p.m.; Tuesdays between 6 and 8 p.m.
