Today in Wellesley: Can You Hear Me Now?, Drop-In Stories and More

Five things you need to know for August 14, 2013 in Needham and Wellesley.

1. According to the National Weather Service, today looks to be bright and warm: 76ºF highs and mostly sunny by day, 52ºF and clear tonight.

2. Can you hear me now? Well, if not, then Waterstone at Wellesley is hosting a hearing Aid checkup on Wednesday, at 11 a.m. A free check of your hearing aids, keep them in working order. They do want you to RSVP. For more information or to RSVP, call 781-235-1614.

3. Drop in for Drop-In Story Time at Needham Public Library. 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Join the Library team for music, movement and stories for about a half-hour. You should stick around, though--they want all of the kids to be accompanied by an adult.

4. Are you a master of the strings? Like, stringed instruments, I mean. Reason I ask, the Wellesley Symphony Orchestra is looking for someone like you. This is their 65th concert season, and they are preparing everything from Beethoven to Dvorák to Copland. Contact them at info@wellesleysymphony.org, or contact the Music Director Max Hobart at at 781 263-1933 or at maxhobart@verizon.net.
