'Durang, Durang' Performance, Read to a Dog and More Friday Happenings

Upstage at Wellesley College will present “Durang, Durang” 8 p.m. in the alumnae Hall Ruth Nagel Jones Theatre.

Children in grades K-4 may sign up for a 15-minute session with one of Wellesley Public Library’s canine reading partners 4 to 5 p.m. Bring your own book or borrow one. For more information or to sign up call 781-235-1610, extension 1108 or visit the Children’s Room.

Wellesley Dental Group and town schools, the police department, local organizations, retailers and neighboring towns are donating extra Halloween candy and writing notes of thanks to U.S. troops overseas. Wellesley Dental Group will accept candy donations from Nov. 1 through Nov. 8.

Babson Global has partnered with Universiti Malaysia Kelantan, Wow Labs and the U.S. State Department to establish a social innovation incubator serving the youth of Malaysia.

The incubator - Youth Beehive at UMK (“Beehive”) - will focus on developing new social innovation ventures intended to increase economic empowerment and opportunities for marginalized youth populations in Malaysia. For information, visit www.babson.edu.
