Mini Art in Bloom
Spring Exhibit 2012, May 6th 2-4pm
The Wellesley Community Center
Calling all artists, gardeners, and enthusiasts to join in what promises to be a delightful celebration of art and blooms. The Wellesley Society of Artists will be presenting its annual Mini Art in Bloom Exhibit on Sunday, May 6th at the Wellesley Community Center. The Show is done in conjunction with the Wellesley Garden Club, where local artists and horticultural enthusiasts join together to create floral pieces that reflect the artist’s paintings. At the reception, awards will be presented to the winning artists. The artwork will remain on display throughout the summer.
The Wellesley Society of Artists (WSA) is a community of artists founded in 1933 for the purpose of encouraging and supporting local artists and for promoting fine arts in Wellesley. Members come from all over the Boston Metro area and beyond.
WSA objectives are to give members an opportunity to exhibit their work, provide a supportive environment that will stimulate personal creativity and encourage the sharing of ideas, knowledge and skills.
The Wellesley Society of Artists welcomes all to this free event, which will be a delightful way to spend part of Sunday afternoon.
The Wellesley Community Center is located at 219 Washington Street, Wellesley.
