WSA Presents WaterColor Demo by Marjorie Glick
Wellesley Free Library, 530 Washington St, Wellesley, MA | Get Directions »
FREE
Artist Marjorie Glick is known for her large scale and vivid realism watercolors that are inspired by New England's places of antiquity and by the beauty found in nature. She has been painting for more than 30 years and has exhibited at several regional museums and galleries including the DeCordova where she has taught since 1986.
She will be doing a landscape demonstration with watercolors and the audience is invited to observe the painting process. As Glick says, "Color excites me - seeing it, mixing it, working it into many transparent layers in images of heightened color and light. Look at her website for more information and images; www.marjorieglick.com
The Wellesley Society of Artists welcomes all to this free event. Light refreshments will be served. If you are interested in learning more about the Society please visit our website for more information and membership at: www.wellesleysocietyofartists.org
