Dr. Dunlap will become the first African American president of the Ma ssachusetts Medical Society upon taking office in May 2013.\nThe breakfa st program will also feature cultural performances by the Charles Street African Methodist Episcopal (A.M.E.) He has been a member of ACC&rsquo\;scommittees on Information Te chnology\, Member Services\, Public Health\, Nominations\, Strategic Pla nning\, and Administration and Management and served as president of the Norfolk South District Medical Society from 2006-2008. He has been an I nstructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School since 1979 and is a Card iology Clinical Case Reviewer for Masspro\, a performance improvementorg anization that advances healthcare quality.\nThe World of Wellesley was founded in 1990 to support and promote racial and cultural diversity in Wellesley. The organization sponsors a variety of events throughout the year focused on diversity\, including a series of programsco-sponsored b y the Wellesley Free Library. WOW also recognizes local businesses and o ther organizations for actions in support of diversity. World of Wellesl eyco-hosts a variety of local programs throughout the year\, and in addi tion to Sun Life\, partners with Babson College and Wellesley College.\n During its 22 years history\, WOW produced/co-produced an average of 20p rograms a year on diversity or 600 programs total. Their partnership wit h theWellesley Public School System resulted in an essay program on dive rsity\, inwhich over 400 fifth grade students from seven elementary scho ols participate annually.
