The Brandeis-Wellesley Orchestra’s fall program will include excerpts from Humperdink’s opera, Hansel & Gretel, featuring Marion Dry, Gail Fuller, and Andrea Matthews; Ravel’s Daphnis & Chloe, Suite No. 2; and Tchaikovsky’s Overture of 1812 (commemorating the Russian defense of Moscow against Napoleon’s army at the battle of Borodino).
