New Look for Wellesley College's Website and Facebook Page

The Patch isn't the only site in town with a new look -- Wellesley College recently unveiled a new design for its homepage, news pages and several departments, with more to follow, designed to make it easier to navigate the site. The new homepage features drop-down menus from the top navigation bar and a "Daily Shot," a large image that allows us to highlight a central event or piece of news happening on campus.

The Wellesley College Facebook page also has a new layout, after being switched over to Facebook's "Timeline" format. You can follow Wellesley's timeline all the way back to the founding of the College on September 8, 1875. Other interesting highlights include: "2007: Pamela Melroy (class of 1983) becomes second woman to command a space shuttle mission" and "1942: Wellesley students found WZLY, the first all-women college radio station" -- you can still Tune in, by the way. More milestones (both past and present) will be added.

Visit the new Website at the same address, www.wellesley.edu, and the Facebook page at www.facebook.com/WellesleyCollege.
