MassBay Community College Fall Open House - on Saturday, November 17th, those curious about community colleges are welcome to swing by the Wellesley campus and learn more about the college and what that entails.
Volunteer at a Living Museum - The Wellesley College Greenhouses are looking for volunteer tour guides to show off their collection of plants. Friends of Wellesley College Botanic Gardens are offering a free three-session training course for volunteer tour guides on Fridays.
New England's Camp Chams Event lead by Needham Resident - Jason Silberman of Needham, owner and director of Camp Matoaka in Smithfield, ME presented an award to Boston Mayor Thomas Menino, this year’s honoree.
Immigration Public Forum, Nov. 29 - At the end of the month, Needham Community Council's Sandy Robinson is slated to Speak at the forum, “Immigration: Why Should Our Community Care?” will be presented from 7:30–9:30 p.m. at the Broadmeadow School in Needham.
