WGBH's Callie Crossley Wins Wellesley College Award
Wellesley College gives their alumnus, Callie Crossley of WGBH, an achievement award.
This year's 2013 Wellesley College Alumnae Achievement Award goes to WGBH contributor Callie Crossley.
The celebration for the 2013 Alumnae Achievement Award recipients was held Thursday afternoon, Feb. 28, in the school's Diana Chapman Walsh Alumnae Hall.

Crossley is widely acclaimed as a model for the highest standards of journalistic engagement. Colleagues note that she brings “a sharp intellect, a formidable work ethic, a warm personality, and a genuine interest in people,” and observe that she consistently seeks out those with new and different points of view.
Also receiving awards this year, surgeon Diana Farmer, Wellesley class of ’77, author and philanthopist Barbara Lubin Goldsmith, class of ’53, writer, cultural historian and feminist Marilyn Koenick Yalom, of the class of ’54.
