Wellesley South Little League Wins State Championship, Advances to Regional Tournament

The Wellesley South Little League team are state champs. They'll play next month in the regional tournament in Bristol, Conn.

The Wellesley South Little Leaguers are heading to Connecticut.

They beat Acton-Boxboro in the state championship game last night in Worcester, according to Boston.com.

They’ll now compete for the right to go to the world championships in Williamsport, Pa. later this summer.

Congrats to Wellesley from last year's state champs in Andover. Not the least bit surprised to see you back. Go get 'em in Bristol! Leave it all on the field.
