Wellesley College Grad to Star on ‘Survivor’
Roberta RC Saint-Amour, class of 2007, will compete on “Survivor: Philippines.”
One Wellesley College alumna will be competing on the show that combines teamwork, brains and physical skill – some of which she may have achieved at the historic local institution.
Roberta “RC” Saint-Amour, class of ’07, is a contestant on the upcoming “Survivor: Philippines," the 25th installment of the CBS show.
According to her CBS bio, Saint-Amour, 27, was a one-time hoop rolling champion while at Wellesley. As she explains in her introductory video on Youtube, where competitors roll an old, wooden hoop for one-eighth of a mile. Whoever does so the fastest is said to “achieve success however she defines it,” she says.
Saint-Amour, who works as an investment banker in New York City, said in the video she hopes her success is winning survivor. When asked if that would trump her hoop rolling championship, she quipped, “Possibly.”
Saint-Amour holds three Wellesley swimming records as well as two Seven Sisters records, according to the school’s athletic department.
The upcoming season of Survivor premiers Sept. 19 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
