An update on the St. James property acquisition is forthcoming.
Selectwoman Katherine Babson will update the School Committee on the property located at 900 Worcester St. at about 7:55 tonight.
In June, Town Meeting voted to purchase the land. The property, which technically still belongs to the Archdiocese of Boston, has been tied up in an appeals process filed by parishioners who were at one time intent on reopening the church.
