School Committee Forgives Lunch Debt; Town Votes for Romney in Low-Turnout Election

Wellesley Police were busy on the roads this week. Several were arrested for drunk driving offenses during the prior week.

On Tuesday, 9 percent of registered Wellesley voters went to the polls, where GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney took over 80 percent of the votes.

At a Tuesday night meeting, the School Committee voted to forgive almost $5,000 in lunch debt to eight families.

A pet-owner’s dogs went missing Wednesday afternoon, but they were found Thursday in Natick.
