Wellesley Teen Dies in Colorado Ski Accident
Multiple media outlets are reporting a 15-year-old girl was killed while skiing in Colorado.
A 15-year-old Wellesley teen died in a ski accident in Colorado yesterday, according to multiple sources.
CBS Boston reported that Hannah Randolph collided with a tree while attempting to ski an expert trail at Copper Mountain resort Sunday. She was wearing a helmet, according to the report.
The Denver Post first reported the accident, which occurred at 1:43 p.m. Sunday on the “CDL trail, a a 2,600-foot long, expert-rated run.”
The Post says Randolph's death marks the 13th ski-related death this season.
