Are Wellesley Square and Linden Square Moving in the Right Directions?

Neena’s joined a long list of businesses that have vacated Wellesley Square over the course of the past two years. Different Drummer left last winter after 15 years, Rugged Bear closed its doors last March, and Clarks shoe store walked away, just to name a few.
Meanwhile, Linden Square is thriving. With a brand new beautification project recently completed, and the announcement of a Pinkberry frozen yogurt shop to open in the area, it seems the only problem at this square is filled up parking lots and large crowds of consumers.
Though recently, there's been an uptick at Wellesley Square as shops move back in.
Are the squares both moving in the right directions?
