Edwin Chan of Boston succumbed to injuries following a Route 9 motorcycle crash Friday.
A 25-yar-old Boston man died Friday at an area hospital due to injuries caused by a motorcycle accident on Route 9.
Edwin Chan of Boston was pronounced dead at Newton-Wellesley Hospital after police found him lying in the roadway following a crash on Route 9 near the Route 16 bridge and Wellesley Fire Department, according to Wellesley Police Lt. Marie Cleary.
“The motorcycle struck a concrete barrier on the right side of the road that separates the Route 9 westbound travel lane from an onramp,” according a statement on the Wellesley Police website.
