The runner, Natalia Escallon, is running to raise money for the Boys and Girls Club.

Though the Boston Marathon is still about a month away, and marathon fever is heading to Wellesley early.

Three-time marathon runner Natalia Escallon will run a half marathon on a treadmill outside of The Linden Store tomorrow to raise money for the Boys and Girls Club of Boston South Boston Marathon Team.

Escallon, who works at Linden, said in a press statement he runs to “unite two things that I love: helping kids and running. The South Boston Club is a life-saver for a lot of inner city kids around the Southie community.”

The Boston Athletic Association has given the Boston Boys & Girls Club seven entry numbers. Runners are required to earn $5,000 per number. Escallon hopes to raise this money tomorrow.

The event begins at 11 a.m.
