Littlefield Passes School Committee Gavel to New Chair

As the school year comes to a close, the School Committee elected a new chair.

With the end of the school year upon us, the Wellesley School Committee began looking ahead to next year at its meeting Tuesday night, as a new chair was voted in.

Suzy Littlefield, who served as School Committee chair for the fourth time this year, closed out her time with the gavel with praise from fellow members. While she tried to quickly slip the gavel to Assistant Superintendent Salvatore Petralia so he could lead the proceedings to elect a new chair, Diane Campbell wouldn’t let her off so easily.
